What’s Chris presently working on?

JUNE 11TH 2011 — Woops…I didn’t mean to leave this page neglected for so long. Here goes, here’s what I am currently working on:

Promoting The Number 3 Mystery Book. Wow, it’s hard. If you’d like to read some reviews and buy your digital copy for just 69pence, you can get it from Amazon here. Alternatively, paperback’s should be available fairly soon. Will post an update as soon as they are ready! Exciting times.

Editing Love Your Little Sister and getting distracted by the lure of tea, TV, and…hmm, just about anything but what I’m supposed to be doing. Three-quarters of the way there with it right now…and it is dark.

Things are exceedingly busy for me right now; life consists of freelance writing for money, and novel writing for…well, hopefully money one day soon, but that’s for readers to decide. My first Kindle / e-reader novel (working title: The Number 3 Mystery Book) is with an editor right now, and as soon as my trusty HTML hero Jack gets that up I’ll be finishing the next novel (working title: Love Your Little Sister).The first is a dark adventure comedy for young adults, and the second is an even darker horror fantasy for young adults.

I hate the term “young adults”, but I never know what else to call it. To me, an adult is an adult and a teen is a teen. But still, it sounds better than “teen book”. I don’t consider any of my novels only for teens. All of them are influenced by the great works of fiction which can be enjoyed by any age.

Once those two are up then I have the third novel, A Massive Famous Thing! to edit…and once that’s done I have my fourth novel Jealous Boy to edit. I’m still not decided if I’ll release JB yet but I think I probably will.

Once all that’s done I suppose I’ll continue writing In Utopia. But who knows? I may get carried away with another idea along the way and end up going with that.
